The dark side. Revenge: Batman. Bruce Wayne’s near-deadly force is stepping up in his last resort to help his friend… enlisting none other than Doom Patrol to help. World’s Greatest Superheroes is about the world’s greatest comic book talent in an epic comic book experience that ushers in the next big events in the DCU. Get ready, it’s time to rise. Batman/Superman #22 – Jean Luen Yang, writer; Paul Pelletier, penciller; Keith Champagne, inker; Hi-Fi, Colorest Ray – 10/10

It was ridiculously good, a meta-exploration of what these two heroes would have been like without each other. But I never expected such a final thing to be done in one. Many adventures remain, but a new cosmic story awaits, courtesy of two unlikely allies. Mxyzptlk and Calendar Man. Maddened Julian Day was about to die as one of the many villains on A-Day, suffocating from Jocular gas as he frantically joins his quest, but it’s only a second to rescue Mxyzptlk from oblivion and cure him. Got a chance. They have a bond, you see. Calendar Man is obsessed with boxes of calendars to make sense of the world and Mxyzptlk uncovers the shocking truth – they’re all in the boxes because they’re inside the pages of a comic book.

This calendar gives man a unique cosmic ability due to his consciousness and mxy’s magic hat – he can now see charts and communicate with them. So get ready for one of the most brilliantly unique quizzes of pure and dark physical comedy you’ll ever see as Calendar Man unleashes his new cosmic powers on his rival villains and ultimately Batman and Superman themselves. This issue needs to be read carefully, maybe more than once, because there’s a lot of wonderful detail to be found here thanks to Yang’s writing and Pelletier’s drawings, old-school art. The way the calendar interacts with the main page — not always to its advantage — is incredibly clever. Mxyzptlk doesn’t have much page time, but his closing monologue is one of the best comic capers I’ve seen in a while. It’s not a long reveal, but it ultimately proves to be one of the best DC books I’ve read in a long time. Don’t miss it and give Jane Luenyang the credit she deserves.

Of all the superhero partnerships in the DC universe, the most famous and influential is that between Superman and Batman, often called the world’s best. Despite their different perspectives and approaches to crime-fighting in the DCU, the two heroes see each other as friends, allies, and relatives, but their partnership has only brought them closer. Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #4, written by Mark Waid, illustrated by Dan Moura, colored by Tamra Boone Villain, and lettered by Aditya Badeker, features both heroes fresh from saving the DCU. Collected in Tarin Mission. And oddly enough, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened to two DC powerhouses in comic book history!

Here’s how Man of Steel and The Dark Knight became a superhero based on the characters’ visuals, how the world’s best comic book series to date, and when Superman and Batman teamed up as Voltron in the past. Come on.

Batman Vs. Superman Film Gets A Title, New Logo

The fusion of Superman and Batman is not the product of the Dragon Ball Z Fusion Dance or Potara’s earrings, but is facilitated by the cosmic energies of the Green Lantern Ring. Facing off against Hal Jordan, Batman and Superman join forces to remove Hal’s power ring from his finger and end their feud against bleach magic. Successfully, the two heroes become one entity behind the Emerald Light, a shared source of power with the shared genius of Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern.

Although occupying the same body, Superman and Batman’s inner thoughts are shown to be separate, so that each of the two characters has a hand in controlling the compound, not unlike the Pacific Rim Jaeger. With the strength, speed, endurance of the Man of Tomorrow, the training of Batman and his gadgets, and the heroic representation of the Green Lantern, this matchup is a hero force to be reckoned with. However, this fusion apparently accelerates the absorption of the ring’s energy, seamlessly separating Batman and Superman into their normal selves, once the ring is completely depowered.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest was released this past March and marked the return of the passionate Waid to his first ongoing DC Comics title in over a decade. As Superman and Batman are still working on their friendship and relationship in the DCU’s relative past, the story sees the two heroes team up after the Man of Steel is beaten by his nemesis Metal. The Finest World Patrol went to consult for medical help while Robin and Supergirl went with their team to learn more about the strange conspiracy that was attacking the heroes.

The culprit is obviously the ancient demon Nizza, who was imprisoned four thousand years ago before escaping his wiles and subjugating humans to his will. Using dark magic, Nezha transforms the superheroes of the world into his loyalists and attacks them in the best world, including Nezha’s latest transformations, the Green Lantern. As Batman and Superman fight directly for the Spear, Supergirl and Robin find themselves transported to ancient China, where they encounter the heroes who were defeated and imprisoned by the Spear a thousand years ago. was

Batman/superman: World’s Finest #7 Will Introduce Superman’s Secret Sidekick, Boy Thunder

Early iterations of one man, like Batman and Superman, were originally completely separate characters and, even more interestingly, supervillains. Introduced by Edmund Hamilton and Kurt Swann in 1964’s Best Comics World #142, Joseph Meech grew up as the Man of Steel while working as a janitor at the Superman Museum in Metropolis. After an in-game adventure in a museum section dedicated to the Legion of Super-Heroes, Meach gains Legion powers and uses Chameleon Boy’s powers to transform himself into a half-Superman and half-Batman. . Mech Superman Referring to himself as the Superman Composite, Mech threatens Superman and Batman before losing his powers and eventually being killed by the alien supervillain Xan.

In the 2009 Superman/Batman Annual #3 by Len Wein and Chris Batista, Professor Ivo clones the Justice League in an attempt to duplicate and overwhelm their powers. The strange experiment fails with the clones merging into one being and combining Superman and Batman’s stripped-down costumes. Growing more unstable, this cloned Superman would eventually tear himself apart.

In 2004’s Superman/Batman #4, Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness put a heroic twist on Superman, with a giant robotic warrior created by the teenage Toyman hero Hiro Okamura to destroy a giant kryptonite meteor barrel on Earth. . Intended to be piloted by the original Batman and Superman, the robot is flown by Captain Atom to intercept a meteor, which results in the robot’s destruction. Loeb and McGuinness eventually reiterated this concept
